This photograph of a couple sunbathing on the beach was taken during a road trip through Portugal with my mother. After years of living abroad, I returned to this shared time with her, only to realize that the idea of traveling together can be more romantic than reality allows.

The couple reminded me of times when my father was alive, prompting me to see my mother through a new lens. This journey became a chance to confront old feelings and rediscover the present. I hope this image stirs memories of your own loved ones, inviting you to cherish the here and now.

Prints are shipped flat and separately from other items, while unframed posters are sent in a sturdy tube. Framed prints are carefully packed in bubble wrap and a sturdy box, also shipped separately. Orders are sent from the Netherlands, UK, or US, and any duties and taxes will be calculated at checkout, which are the buyer’s responsibility.
